Map the Meal Gap shows food insecurity exists in every county and congressional district in the U.S., though the prevalence of food insecurity varies significantly across populations and places.

Though many of us may not realize the grave disparities that exist in our own communities, people struggle with hunger in every county in North and South Carolina. They represent our neighbors, co-workers, and kids in our children’s classes. No matter the walk of life, we all have a role to play in making sure all our neighbors are fed.
