Feeding The Carolinas’ Third Annual Advocacy Action Month

Advocacy Action Month was launched in March 2024 to create a strategic, collective platform for our network of Food Banks and pantries to advocate. Every March, we invite individuals, partners, and communities to use their voices, time, and talents to spread awareness, connect with legislators, and push for meaningful change.

How YOU Can Advocate

1. Educate & SHARE

Sign up for our newsletter, learn about food insecurity, and share content within your networks.

2. Use your voice

Contact your representatives in North Carolina and South Carolina and let them know why ending hunger matters.

3. GET HANDS-ON

Volunteer, host a food drive, attend local events, or support a pantry. Download our Advocacy Toolkit for guided action steps.

Your Call To Action

Your Advocacy Toolkit

Ending hunger takes more than food, it takes voices. That’s why we created the Advocacy Action Month Toolkit: to make it easy for anyone to speak up, get involved, and help drive real change. Whether you’re contacting legislators, sharing resources online, or starting conversations in your community, these tools will help you take meaningful action against hunger. When we take action together, we amplify the needs of our neighbors and push for long-term solutions that create lasting impact.

Why Advocacy Action Month?

Hunger impacts millions of Carolinians—and advocacy helps shape policies that support food access and security.

By working together, we amplify the voices of the community and ensure local, state, and federal leaders understand the urgent need for solutions.

Advocacy strengthens support for food banks and expands resources right when families and neighbors need them most.
