Everyday Hunger Still Exists

About Us

We are Feeding the Carolinas

Feeding the Carolinas is a network that unites the ten Feeding America Food Banks serving North and South Carolina. We act as a unified voice regarding hunger and food insecurity in our area, supporting our member Food Banks to provide a healthy, adequate, and consistent food supply to every community every day.

Learn

Understanding Food Insecurity

The USDA defines food insecurity as a lack of consistent access to enough food for every person in a household to live an active, healthy life. Some individuals and families may experience temporary food insecurity, but for others, it becomes a regular part of their daily lives. At Feeding the Carolinas, we’re working toward equitable access to healthy food for all.
