Happy New Year!

In 2024, our network experienced both ample growth and challenges. We developed new programs, addressed unprecedented need for food and resources, and faced the calamity of Hurricane Helene together. To sum up the bulk of our work over the last year, we created an impact report  that you can download and read— we think it’s pretty sweet.

Here’s just a portion of what we were able to accomplish:

  • 48 meetings were conducted with legislators to communicate our neighbors needs
  • $4.9 million was provided in direct financial support to our member Food Banks
  • 76 million pounds of produce were sourced (Making us the second largest
source of produce in the Feeding America network!)

Shortly after we developed our impact report, Hurricane Helene hit our region. Through the recovery process, we were able to capture some of the work being done at our impacted Food Banks that highlights the overwhelming power and resilience of our network. Check out the video below!

While 2024 held some challenges, we have so much to be grateful for. The community provided by our neighbors, our partner organizations and our incredible team is unmatched. In this new year, we aim to continue to grow and build programs that sustain our community equitably and efficiently. We’re all in this together.

Thank you for helping us accomplish great things in 2024. We’re wishing you and yours a prosperous 2025!
