INFORMATION ON COVID-19 AND OUR FOOD BANKS: "How Can I Help?"

Virtual Food Drives

Support Food Banks with a Virtual Food Drive for Feeding the Carolinas!

Hosting a virtual food drive is a fun and easy way to make a difference in our community. Whether you are a business, group, or individual, our interface makes it easy to set goals, track your progress, and share your fundraiser with friends and colleagues.

Traditional vs. Virtual

A traditional food drive is when you visit a grocery store and purchase non-perishable food items to deliver to a Food Bank. A virtual food drive is a fast, online way to make the same impact without leaving home or the office.

Skip the trip to the grocery store and host a Virtual Food Drive! Your fundraiser will help to provide meals for families in your community struggling with hunger.  Become a fundraiser today and join our efforts to provide access to nutritious food that nourishes families, children, seniors, and individuals.

Create a Personal Fundraiser

Whether you want to commemorate a special occasion, honor a loved one, or simply inspire others to join in providing meals to those in need, you can make a big impact by creating your own fundraiser.

Start a Team Challenge

Challenge your colleagues, family members, or friends to a friendly fundraising competition. There are only winners when the outcome is money raised to help provided meals to those in need.

For help setting up your virtual drive, setting up a fundraising team, or if you represent an organization or business and have questions about your virtual drive, contact us.

USDA – Carolinas “Feds Feed Families”

As USDA employees our official motto is to “Do right and feed everyone.” We work everyday to ensure farmers have what they need to provide the food we all need in a sustainable way. Here is another opportunity for us to help those most in need in these challenging times.

Virtual Food Drive Participation Policy

Feeding the Carolinas helps support the 10 Feeding America Food Banks serving every county in North and South Carolina, and their network of over 3,800 on-the-ground Partner Agencies serving local families in need of food assistance. Each time you participate in a Virtual Food Drive, you entrust Feeding the Carolinas to direct your gifts to where they are needed most. This includes, but it not limited to, the disbursement of funds to our member Food Banks where most needed.
